The two sides of Woodstock tree work
Head south on I-575 and Woodstock is only a few minutes from our yard, which keeps our response quick for both scheduled work and storm calls. The town itself is two different jobs in one. The older neighborhoods near downtown and around Towne Lake have mature oaks, poplars, and pines that have grown tall and close to the houses, and those are the trees that need removals, heavy pruning, and deadwood cleared before storm season.
The newer subdivisions are the opposite. The builder-planted trees are young and still shaping up, which is exactly when the right structural pruning sets a tree up to grow strong instead of splitting later. Robin looks at both kinds the same careful way and tells you what the tree actually needs now.
Trimming that fits the tree
Good trimming is not the same job on a fifty-year-old oak as it is on a young maple a builder put in five years ago. On the big established trees we thin crowded limbs, clear deadwood, and lift the canopy off the roof, always with cuts that let the tree seal and heal. On younger trees we prune for structure so one strong leader develops instead of competing stems that will split in a storm.
Bad cuts, topping, and over-thinning do real long-term damage, so the trimming is planned by our certified arborist rather than done by the same rule on every tree.

Do you work both the older Woodstock neighborhoods and the newer subdivisions?
Yes. Older lots usually need removals and heavy pruning on tall trees close to the house, and newer subdivisions need structural pruning while the trees are young. We do both, and Robin tells you which your trees actually need.
My subdivision trees are still small. Do they need pruning already?
Often that is the best time. Early structural pruning guides a young tree to grow one strong trunk instead of weak competing stems that split later. A quick look tells us whether yours would benefit now.
How quickly can you get to Woodstock after a storm?
